The daily death toll from the new Corona virus has risen again in Italy, after 1,210 new infections were recorded during the past 24 hours.
According to an official toll today, reported by Agence France-Presse, seven deaths were recorded, bringing the total to 35,437 since the beginning of the epidemic.
In turn, Minister of Health Roberto Speranza ruled out re-imposing a general quarantine in the country, considering that the situation is "under control."
According to the Assistant Director-General of the World Health Organization, Ranieri Guerra, the high number of infections in Italy is due to the exacerbation of the spread of infection and to the more advanced use of examinations.
