This Sunday, August 23, the staff of the Korian Saint-Simon nursing home in Paris were anxiously awaiting the results of the PCR tests carried out on all of its residents following the first cases confirmed last Thursday for two residents and four employees. Four days later, the tests are positive for thirteen new people including ten residents. The house located rue d'Avron in the 20th arrondissement of Paris now has 19 confirmed cases including twelve elderly people.

As of Thursday, the private retirement home closed its doors to visitors and placed the sick in quarantine. With the new balance sheet, management has decided to toughen the rules by reopening the Covid + service, allowing patients and employees not to infect other members of the establishment. In addition, a new series of massive screening will be organized every week in order to best protect staff and residents.
