I don't think young people resist communicating with the previous generation, they just don't want to be preconceived to make a conclusion. If every remark is regarded as wind in the ear, you will feel helpless if it is you? When working with people, the most fear is to encounter colleagues who refuse to communicate. This kind of people never listen carefully. No matter what your opinion is, they will always respond in a perfunctory manner, believing that their direction is the most correct. In other words, it is a little authoritarian.

Many people mistakenly believe that leaders are supposed to be tough and must stick to their own views; otherwise, they will be made irresponsible remarks by others, and they will be regarded as "unbeatable," and ultimately nothing will be achieved.
