The "Red Sea" hotel in Eilat, where the 16-year-old girl's gang rape recently took place, received a warning from the police yesterday (Sunday) after minors were seen drinking alcohol in public and without interruption.
The warning was received after a hearing for the business following videos from security cameras at the place documenting the minors drinking at the venue, as well as following testimonies from employees and customers of the hotel. The hotel management did not report any of the cases to the police as required by law. At the end of the hearing, the hotel owners were asked to be careful and follow the guidelines.

A senior hotel worker was arrested yesterday by a team of investigators into the rape case on suspicion of disrupting an investigative walk and failing to prevent a crime. The worker and seven of the rape suspects, all minors, will be brought to the Ashkelon Magistrate's Court today for an extension of their detention. To date, 11 suspects have been arrested in connection with the rape of the girl.
The detention of the main suspect in the affair, 27-year-old Issy Raphaelov, was extended by five days yesterday. Raphaelov is a convicted violent criminal who previously threatened a policewoman: "I would have raped you."
• The suspicion of rape in Eilat: The police arrested a senior employee at the hotel
• The rapist's girlfriend: "I approached her and she barely responded"
• The home of the complainant for the rape in Eilat will be secured
Police estimate that the girl's testimony, accompanied by a juvenile investigator, was very detailed and reliable, and that her friend's testimony, along with technological and forensic evidence, add to the evidence in the case. Advocate Shani Moran, the girl's attorney, said on her behalf: “She will do whatever it takes to get to the truth. She is ready to face any of them in a confrontation. The version she delivered is reliable and strong. She linked certain suspects to the incident and provided evidence to police. "
