A 33-year-old man contracted COVID-19 again in Hong Kong five months after the first infection, according to research to be published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases. The patient's medical history only showed symptoms in the first contagion, although he was hospitalized after the second test carried out at an airport control after visiting Spain and returning via the United Kingdom. One of the researchers in charge of the study said that the case is a sign that the new coronavirus can persist in humans.
