The number of new cases diagnosed with the new Corona virus exceeded 436,000 in Spain today.
Reuters quoted the Spanish Ministry of Health as saying that 436,405 confirmed injuries were recorded, an increase of more than 19,300 from yesterday, adding that the situation in Madrid requires a "swift" move with new measures taken in the coming days.
For his part, Fernando Simon, Director of the Health Emergencies Center at the Ministry of Health, said that Madrid has witnessed a significant increase in the number of cases, indicating that the Spanish capital had the largest number of cases diagnosed last week, reaching more than 13,400.
He added that the situation could lead to the adoption of "strict measures" such as imposing closures in a particular area or restrictions on the movement of residents.
