Coronavirus: 1955 new cases in the last 24 hours

The positivity rate for RT-PCR tests fell from 1.4% at the start of the summer to 3.6% between August 15 and 21.


30,528 people have died from the coronavirus in France since the start of the pandemic, including 15 in the last 24 hours, according to figures published daily by the Directorate General of Health. The health authority reports 1955 new cases on Monday, August 24, bringing the total over the sliding week to 23,591.
