After Oscar Parrilli's complaint against the journalist Marcelo Bonelli for "damages", the Clarín columnist described the action as a form of "patoterism" and affirmed that it has the "intention to intimidate."

The conductor of Arriba Argentinos also said on the TN news channel that "it is clear that this is intimidation."

Bonelli also said that the lawsuit is "regrettable" and explained that the telegram reached him on Friday, shortly after the controversial change in the ruling of the judicial reform was included, at the last minute.

The journalist also argued that the summons is a hearing prior to those held before starting a trial. "He does not say the reason" for the lawsuit, said Bonelli and what he called "something unusual."

"What do you want to surprise me to see what I can say? It is clear that we are going to hold the law and go to the hearing," said Bonelli and sentenced:  "They are already bored with these things ."

"We want to tell Parrilli (Gregorio) Dalbón and those behind them that we are going to continue practicing journalism and report things as they are," he emphasized.

The relationship between the Government and the press has been on an upward escalation after the ruling on the judicial reform with the controversial article introduced by Senator K, by which the judges must inform the Council of the Magistracy "the influence on their decisions by of political, economic or media powers ".
