Four Islamic Jihad operatives in the Gaza Strip were killed last night (Monday night) in an explosion in the Shaja'iya neighborhood, according to media reports in the Gaza Strip. Apparently, it was a "work accident."

Around ten o'clock at night, a loud explosion was heard in the Gaza Strip, and the ink was also felt in parts of the Gaza Strip. Initially, the media in Gaza blamed Israel for the blast, and allegations were made of targeted assassination or use of an explosive device. After a few hours, however, it became clear that this was an internal "work accident", which apparently occurred in a rocket-making lathe or in an attempt by the activists to move rockets from place to place.

According to the media in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the explosion of one or more rockets, two Islamic Jihad members were killed on the spot, and two more later died at the hospital. According to reports, in addition, about 6 other Islamic Jihad operatives were injured, with varying degrees of injury.
