After being detained for more than five months with house arrest in Paraguay, the Justice finally released former Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho Gaúcho, charged with the irregular use of a passport.
This was defined by the judge in the case, Gustavo Amarilla, who authorized Ronaldinho to return to Brazil.
The former soccer player and his brother were arrested on March 6, two days after arriving at the air terminal where they exhibited real Paraguayan passports but with false content to the immigration authorities.
The popular "Dinho", champion with the Brazilian team in the 2002 World Cup , would benefit from the "conditional suspension of the procedure" since the expectation of punishment does not exceed two years.
On the other hand, for his brother Roberto, the prosecutors recommended to the judge an abbreviated procedure "with application of the suspension on trial" of the execution of the sentence.

The representatives of the Public Ministry requested in exchange for the benefit $ 9 0,000 in cash as compensation for the social damage caused by their conduct and the obligation to appear every three months and for a year before the judge of their domicile jurisdiction in Brazil.
For Roberto, the prosecutors asked for $ 110,000 as reparation and the obligation to appear every three months for two years before the court of his jurisdiction in Brazil.
The Prosecutor's Office emphasizes in its letter that Ronaldinho did not participate in the manufacturing plan for the false Paraguayan passports and identity cards that were seized from them.
Of his brother, they said that "there are no indications that he has personal traits or criminal behavior that in a field of regulated freedom endangers society."
The De Assis Moreira brothers have been under house arrest in a four-star hotel in Asunción since April 6 of this year, after being detained for a month at the headquarters of the Special Operations Police.
