Now retired, this 62-year-old man was, until his indictment in 2017, the head of the information unit of the staff of the Directorate of Border Police (DPAF) of Orly airport (Val-de-Marne). This service is responsible for forwarding to its hierarchy the movements of people registered in the Wanted Persons File, including those listed S (for State Security), which include people suspected of Islamist radicalization.
He is accused of having sent 100 to 200 confidential files to the Moroccan secret services in return for all-expense paid trips to Morocco or Angola and remittances, according to the order of reference dated July 30, including AFP has knowledge, confirming information from the Parisian . He will appear before the Criminal Court of Créteil in particular for “ passive corruption ” and “ violation of professional secrecy ”, for facts spanning 2014 to 2017.
