A new case of police brutality against a black suspect, seriously injured Sunday during his arrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, sparked riots for two consecutive nights. Three months after the death of George Floyd, and in the midst of a particularly tense electoral campaign, the event revived the controversies over the supposed racism of the American police, but also over the complacency of certain political leaders towards the rioters.
