Rural Damascus - SANA
At a cost of 76 million pounds, the municipal council in Hosh Nasri in Rif Dimashq began paving and asphalting the streets in the Tal Kurdi industrial area.
Council Chairman Ibrahim Hamdoush and the supervisor of the Industrial Zone stated in a statement to the delegate of SANA that the paving and asphalting operations will initially include dirt roads, after which they will move to other roads, stressing that the project will contribute to raising the level of services in the region and the return of more industrial facility owners to resume their work and increase production.
On the other hand, Hamdoush explained that the sewage project, which has been studied, will include the industrial zone and its affiliated villages, noting that service works are continuing in Tal Kurdi, which contributed to the return of 60 percent of the factories and industrial establishments, while other industrial establishments continue the qualification processes to enter production operations soon.
The industrial zone in Tal Kurdi includes about 130 industrial establishments that produce various types of industries, including wooden, electronic, engineering, industrial tools, chemicals, household appliances, and others.
