Sources involved in the investigation into the suspicion of rape in Eilat told Walla! NEWS that "none of the boys helped the girl while the incident happened." To date, 13 suspects have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the rape of a 16-year-old at the Red Sea Hotel - two young people from Hadera, a security manager at the hotel, an 18-year-old man and nine boys. At this point nine of them are still in custody.

The Ashkelon Magistrate's Court yesterday extended by four days the detention of a 28-year-old Hadera resident. The police suspect that he has photos or videos of the incident. A police spokesman stressed that "the suspicion of rape offenses" is growing on the part of the suspect.

Three of the suspected boys were released, and on the other hand, the detention of the two boys who were detained today for questioning was extended by three days. One of them claimed during his interrogation that two of his friends had sex with the girl.

Extension of detention for one of the suspects in the rape of the girl in Eilat, yesterday

One of the suspects claimed in his testimony yesterday that he was not a witness to the alleged rape. "I was in the next room, I heard screams, I saw a naked girl on the bed and a crowd around her. I saw people around her but I did not see sex, and then some of the workers shouted for us to enter the rooms," he said.
