Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami stressed his country's need for missiles to deter the United States and the Zionist entity.
In a statement to Sputnik News Agency, Hatami said that under these circumstances, we must be prepared to respond to any possible aggression, reminding that the United States has continuously tried in recent years to launch a military attack against Iran, which is a violation of all international norms and agreements.
Hatami revealed that Iran has given priority to developing air defense systems domestically due to the difficulties it faced in transporting the Russian S-300 system due to international sanctions, noting the good achievements made by Iran in the field of defense systems against cruise missiles and air defense systems.
