«I had so much fun with this third film. It took 29 years to make it, but it was the most fun doing this character. I watched the second part a couple of times. I've been carrying this character for several years. When I dusted it off, it came out really easy. I wanted to see the second tape to remember what was the relationship I had with Bill and Ted. I had forgotten so many details that it helped me to remember them. Death had a bad way in the music industry, so he is somewhat bitter and angry. Because he feels like nothing went right and that it was Billy Ted's fault and because they got him out of the band. "We were all very busy, Keanu did 'Speed' and 'The Matrix' and other projects, Alex did his documentaries and I did other tapes. We were all busy until 5 years ago, writers Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson started writing Part 3 and came up to ask me if I would be interested in reviving death. I honestly didn't think they would carry out the script.
As in the other two films, various historical figures appear. On this occasion, Bill and Ted travel back in time to find themselves and join a group of characters that will make them compose the long-awaited song. Jimmy Hendrix, Louis Armstrong, Dave Grohl, Mozart, Ling-Lun and Kirk Cuddy will be in charge together with Billie and Thea to fill the universe with music. «Music is the spirit of the film. It is something very important, especially for the daughters of both. It's all, her life revolves around music. Her passion is great. I think music touches people across all kinds of borders. It doesn't matter what language you speak or the country you're in, it doesn't matter how you look. Music touches your heart and moves people, ”says Sadler.
