Once she was very close to Angela Merkel. Louisa Dellert was waiting in front of the plenary hall in the Bundestag, the corridor was empty. "And suddenly this little woman comes in with her bodyguard." It was the Chancellor walking down the hall. They said hello, that was it. Dellert still shines when she talks about it. Then she says: "Unfortunately, I have no connection with Merkel yet." It sounds like it's just a matter of time.

Louisa Dellert, 30, is an influencer. She lives from showing photos and videos from her everyday life on the Internet. She earns money with advertising. "I'm just like a magazine," says Dellert, "I'm also a platform to advertise products." Almost 400,000 people follow her on Instagram.

There you can usually see Dellert himself: in a bikini, in a café, with friends. But also: Dellert at the CDU federal party conference, Dellert with SPD General Secretary Lars Klingbeil, Dellert with FDP chairman Christian Lindner. In the past year, inquiries from politics increased, she says: "We are now being taken more seriously influencers."
