The Milwaukee Bucks players did not show up this afternoon to play with the Orlando Magic in the NBA playoffs, in protest of the racist police violence that led to the seven shots received in the back by the African American Jacob Blake as he entered his truck in Wisconsin, with her three children inside.

In an unprecedented decision in the best basketball league in the world, the team decided not to play the fifth game of the series that beat the Magic 3 to 1 at the Disney World sports complex, where the "bubble" of the NBA.

Other teams, including the Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics, had said they were studying not playing their next game in protest of Sunday's police attack on Blake, who is hospitalized with a critical prognosis.

"We black people are afraid in America," LeBron James had said in the last Los Angeles Lakers game, where he was moved by the fact. "We need a change and that change begins in November," he said, in relation to the presidential elections.
