In response to incendiary balloons: IDF attacks Hamas underground infrastructure in Gaza
An IDF spokesman announced that fighter jets and aircraft attacked in the southern Gaza Strip, following the blowing up of incendiary and explosive balloons that led to the outbreak of 29 fires in the envelope in the last day.

IDF fighter jets and aircraft attacked Hamas' underground infrastructure in the southern Gaza Strip last night (Wednesday), an IDF spokesman said. This, in response to the inflating of explosive balloons and burning from the strip to the envelope during the day.
"The IDF conducts an ongoing situation assessment and acts firmly and decisively against any attempted terrorist activity against the citizens of the State of Israel and the violation of its sovereignty," the IDF spokesman said.
