A serious accident occurred on Wednesday (August 26th) on the B 13 south of Holzkirchen. Two cars collided at the junction with the state road from Dietramszell. A seriously injured woman from Dietramszeller had to be flown out by rescue helicopter.

Holzkirchen - The force of the impact was so great that a Mazda driver (37) could only be freed from the wreck of her car with the use of special equipment: At the junction of State Road 2073 with the B 13 south of Holzkirchen (junction to Dietramszell) there was a serious collision yesterday at noon.

The seriously injured woman, a 37-year-old from Dietramszell (Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district), was flown to a clinic by rescue helicopter. The two occupants of the second car, a 38-year-old mother from Vagen (Rosenheim district) and her nine-year-old daughter, suffered minor injuries. The BRK took her to a hospital.

Dietramszellerin overlooks the woman from Vagen's Toyota

According to the Holzkirchen police, the accident developed around 1.30 p.m. The Mazda driver came on the state road from Dietramszell and wanted to turn left in the direction of Holzkirchen. The Dietramszell woman overlooked the woman from Vagen's Toyota from Holzkirchen.

Mother and daughter (9) survive collision with minor injuries

A large contingent of rescue workers rushed to the scene of the accident. While the Toyota driver and her daughter survived the accident with minor injuries, the Dietramszellerin was trapped in her Mazda. The Holzkirchen and Warngau fire brigades used rescue scissors and spreaders to free the seriously injured person. "We had to remove the door and roof," reports Holzkirchen's commander Ludwig Würmseer, who was the head of operations.

After the first aid by the BRK, a rescue helicopter was requested, which landed on a meadow and flew the Dietramszellerin to a hospital.

Both vehicles are only worth scrap. The police estimate the total property damage at around 20,000 euros.

Roads closed for two hours

During the rescue measures, both the junction of the state road and the B 13 were closed. The Hartpenning and Warngau fire brigades set up large-scale diversions. It was only around 3:30 p.m. that the accident site was cleared and the police completed the accident record. The fire brigade was deployed with around 40 active members and seven emergency vehicles.
