Artistic talents belonging to different schools in the world of composition hosted the exhibition of the plastic art competition for young artists at the National Center for Visual Arts in Damascus.

Dr. Ghayath Al-Akhras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Arts, confirmed that the competition was an encouragement for young people who participated over the past years in the workshops held by the center, noting the importance of discovering young talents and introducing them to the plastic public and this is what the center did when motivating young artists by dividing the competition prizes into Three centers for the best artistic work.

According to Al-Akhras, this competition gives young people a new opportunity outside the framework of annual exhibitions and private galleries, and gives an opportunity to work hard for the owner of the distinguished topic.

The young plastic artist, Samar Daoud, who refined her talent at the College of Fine Arts, finds in art her own world in which she expresses herself, as she participated in the exhibition through a painting in which she expressed the year 2020 and the incidents she celebrated with the world buzzing, integrating more than one technique in artistic work So I got to express this idea and present it to the audience of the Arts Center.

As for the artist Hussam Sargaya, winner of the first place in the exhibition, his failure to complete his academic studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts because of the war did not prevent him from pursuing his dream, which he continued and won the first prize through a painting in which he expressed many hopes and memories with thin and confident lines.

As for Nadia Daoud, who continued drawing as a hobby besides studying the media, she mixed spontaneity and boldness with color in her painting. The audience.

Whereas, plastic artist Rawan Odeh, who participated in several exhibitions at the National Center of Arts, relied on abstract art and collage by means of a formation to prove her visual identity and translate her feeling, referring to the golden opportunity that the exhibition granted to young people to display their artistic talents and introduce themselves to art followers.
