Sweida-Sana
The firefighting teams, in cooperation with the people, extinguished this evening a large fire that affected more than 100 dunums of dry grass between the villages of Al-Buthaina and Al-Haqf in the northeastern countryside of the Sweida governorate.
In a statement to SANA reporter, the commander of the Shahba Fire Brigade, Kamal Amer, indicated that the fire was extinguished after the support of the unit from the Sweida Extinguishing Regiment and the Directorate of Civil Defense and the people, as it took more than three hours to extinguish it due to its extension due to the wind blowing and the density of dry weeds.
As-Suwayda governorate witnessed during the current season many fires that affected large areas of trees, field crops and land weeds.
