While the governments of the Nation, the Province and the City of Buenos Aires analyze postponing the announcement of the terms that will govern in the next stage of the quarantine due to the coronavirus, to have the most updated thermometer in the face of a new record of cases, increases the percentage of people who ask to continue making more flexible or directly lifting the mandatory isolation. An uncomfortable pressure for Alberto Fernández, Axel Kicillof and Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, although predictable given the 160 days of restrictions that are fulfilled this Thursday.
When it was discounted that the week that starts this Monday would bring more openings, particularly in the City, the contagion figures on Wednesday opened an impasse. In this sensitive context, Clarín agreed to a new national survey , in which 38% of those consulted asked to "make the quarantine more flexible" and 12% directly to "lift it" .
The survey is from Opinaia , a pioneer in online measurements. It presented a survey of 1,800 cases , between August 14 and 24, with a margin of error of +/- 2.3%.

In the summary with which the report begins, three points stand out:
- "Although for the fourth consecutive month there has been a decrease in the approval of the Government's measures , still about two-thirds of Argentines support the management of the pandemic and quarantine."
- "Despite remaining stable, opinions regarding the easing of restrictions are becoming polarized . In August, extreme positions gain ground: toughen, on the one hand, and lift the quarantine, on the other."
- " Having sex, family reunions and work are the situations that generate the highest level of adherence when thinking about different scenarios that violate the quarantine. On the contrary, the greatest rejection is concentrated in two scenarios: meeting with friends at the door of a bar or bowling alley, or go play soccer. "

Support for government measures lost 23 points since April , when it had peaked at 89%. Anyway, the support continues to be high: 36% say that what the national administration is doing with regard to Covid 19 seems "good" and 30% say "very good".
It is interesting when the clipping is done in the "very good". Among the voters of the Frente de Todos , the average of 30 points rises to 58 and among the beneficiaries of the IFE, to 38.
Then specific questions about insulation are asked and curves are seen that maintain the same trend. " How much do you agree with quarantine and social isolation? " Asks Opinaia first. In April, 94% were between "strongly agree" (74%) and "strongly agree" (20%). In August , the sum dropped to 68% (40 "very" and 28% "quite").

The following table directly asks: "In your opinion, what should be done with the quarantine? " In June, 30% asked to "make more flexible" and 4% to "lift" the restrictions. In August, 38% "relax" and 12% "lift".
In July, those who asked for flexibility or lifting also added 50%, but the claim against the restrictions became tougher : the former went from 43 to 38 and the latter, from 7 to 12.
Within the hard core - those who ask to "lift" - there is also the influence of the crack : within the voters of Together for Change , the average of 12% rises to 20%.
On the opposite side of the street, those who claim to "harden" the isolation were 34% in July, 20% in July and rose to 26% in August. While those who prefer to "stay the same" , in June and July they added 26%, and this month, 19%.
Sex, top in the quarantine "blue"
Opinaia also addressed what it called a "blue" quarantine . And he stated: "The extension of the quarantine and isolation caused many people to break some rules . Next we are going to mention different situations and we ask you to rate them according to your opinion." She presented seven options and three response variants: "Sounds good to me", "Not so bad to me", "Sounds bad to me". Sex won .
