The Jockey Club also stated that all customers must undergo a temperature check before entering the off-site betting desk, and must wear surgical masks in the venue; they must also observe social distancing and group gathering restrictions. To avoid crowds in the off-site betting office, customers must leave the off-site betting office after using the service.
In addition, in view of the reopening of the off-course betting desk on Saturday, the Jockey Club announced that the validity period of all affected lottery tickets or cash coupons will be extended to January 31, 2021. Customers can bring relevant lottery tickets or cash coupons to each off-site betting office to complete the procedures within the validity period. In addition, for lottery tickets or cash coupons purchased on or after Saturday, the validity period will be in accordance with the gaming regulations, that is, the validity periods of lottery tickets and cash coupons are 60 days and 180 days respectively.
