(CNN) - Eduardo Bolsonaro, one of the sons of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, called Black Lives Matter protesters "terrorists" on Thursday, following recent protests over a police shooting in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
"Two people were shot in the city of Kenoshe [sic], Wisconsin - United States, after terrorists from Black Lives Matter (BLM) promoted a night of chaos in the city," wrote Eduardo Bolsonaro on his verified Twitter account.
Bolsonaro - who is a state congressman in Brazil - also shared a widely circulated video that appears to show 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse firing at protesters Tuesday night.

His comments come after Kenosha police charged Rittenhouse with manslaughter for his alleged role in a single shooting during a night of rioting in which two people were killed and a third seriously injured. The shots came amid protests over the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old black man. Blake was shot multiple times by a Kenosha police officer during an altercation that was captured on video.

“This is the shooter who defended himself from BLM (Black Lives Matter). The left calls him a white supremacist, can you believe it? " Eduardo Bolsonaro wrote on Twitter while sharing another video. The clip shows Rittenhouse holding an assault weapon outside a store, saying that "people are getting hurt and our job is to protect this business."
CNN did not independently verify the two videos shared by the congressman.
