A tight schedule forced us to arrive a few days late at Ido Batzeig's meat restaurant, which opened last week in Tel Aviv. We were already afraid that in these days that have passed to this day, the place will go through the same well-known Tel Aviv process and will contain huge queues, but fortunately this has not happened yet, but it will probably happen, and very quickly.

The young Tatzig, as mentioned, opened his meat restaurant in Tel Aviv last week after hosting private events in recent years in the garden of his home in the north. Betzeig decided to open his new restaurant right at a time when all the other restaurants in Israel are struggling during the most difficult time the food and hospitality business knew.

In a meeting with Ido, it can be immediately understood that this is a child only on the identity card. Tatzig is full of self-confidence and controls everything that moves in the restaurant, he is public relations, he is in charge of the meat, he cleans, clears trays and when something does not seem to him he knows how to make it very clear to his employees, most of whom are older than him.

Delicious or a gimmick?

So true, it's cool to tell that you went to eat at the Wonder Child's and to be photographed with meat coming out of a smokehouse, but the story here is more than that - it's quality meat that is made very carefully. Hundreds of pounds of meat and potatoes are sold daily, every day since the grand opening last Wednesday the meat has run out completely. The meat sits for long hours in Ido's smokehouse, depending on the part you choose, there are meats that sit for more than a day. 

Ido's goal is to serve you the food quickly and accurately, from the moment you order until the food reaches you, no more than a few minutes will pass. The dishes come alongside insanely delicious French fries and cabbage and everything is made on the spot. Among the dishes we particularly liked can be found the asado, the excellent hamburger made from vagio meat and the ribs that sit for long hours in the smokehouse.

Ido who started his career about three years ago realizes that the image of the intriguing child will bring diners for the first time, but in order for them to come back everything has to be accurate, "I keep track of everything that comes out, everything is accurate, I worked very hard to get this menu so people can get their food Fast, reasonably priced and of course the most delicious there is. "

The prices at Ido's restaurant / eatery range from NIS 70 per dish, which includes toppings and can even reach NIS 300 per tray, which should be enough for several diners. Currently the seating is only outside and it is likely that from the moment you sit down until the moment you pay the bill no more than 25 minutes will pass, everything is very fast and accurate, you will drink the coffee in the adjacent cafe.
