When the City launched stage 2 of the reactivation plan to get out of quarantine due to the coronavirus, it left out a claim from the gastronomic sector: that they let them put tables and chairs on the sidewalk . But this will change from the new stage that begins this Monday. As it transpired, something more than "take away plus" will be allowed: Buenos Aires bars and restaurants located in sidewalks where social distancing can be guaranteed may also offer table service. In other words, the waiters will be back .

The new modality will be added to those already authorized, which are delivery and take away. The exact day on which it will be enabled is not yet known, but it will be at this stage about to start. Meanwhile, a protocol is being finalized so that the activity can be carried out safely.

These days, the gastronomic sector launched a petition through the Change.org platform to demand that there are no more "upside down chairs." They have already collected more than 103 thousand signatures.

On the other hand, on Thursday the Buenos Aires Legislature approved a law so that gastronomic places do not pay Gross Income for six months, between September of this year and February of next, inclusive.

This Friday afternoon, the Buenos Aires Government will announce how the quarantine continues. This time there will be no joint press conference with the Nation.

Another of the flexibilities that could be announced is that construction can be reactivated , in works of more than 5 thousand square meters and / or that are less than 90 days from completion.

Instead, President Alberto Fernández rejected the City's request to return the work of domestic staff who reside in the City and work in a single home.
