Zarif: Washington does not know the concept of the United Nations and does not understand the law

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed his rejection of the ongoing US threats to countries that oppose their plans to activate the automatic return mechanism for sanctions against Iran despite its withdrawal from the nuclear agreement in 2018.

Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter today that “the United States has shown that it does not know the concept of the United Nations or that it does not understand the law,” indicating that the Security Council rejected the US’s attempts three times to threaten to impose sanctions on any person or entity standing between the United States and the re-entry Imposing international sanctions on Iran.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani held the International Atomic Energy Agency responsible for preserving the nuclear deal, indicating that the United States realized well that its exit from it was a grave mistake.
