The number of new infections with the Coronavirus worldwide has crossed the 24 million mark, while the number of deaths has reached 832,804, according to a Reuters census.
The agency stated that HIV infections have been recorded in more than 201 countries and regions around the world since the virus was first announced in China in December 2019, to exceed the total number of infections 24 million.
According to Reuters statistics, the United States topped the list, with 180,859 deaths, five million and 885178 injuries.
Brazil came in second place, with 118,649 deaths, three million and 761391 injuries, while India ranked third, with 61,529 deaths and three million and 387,500 injuries.
Today, South Korea recorded 323 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to 19,400.
In Colombia, the number of injuries increased to 590,520, after 8 thousand and 498 injuries were recorded today, while the number of deaths rose to 18,767.
