A previously unknown BMW driver caused an accident on Thursday at the FTO near Eitting and ran away.
Eitting - A 28-year-old from Landshut filed a complaint with the Erdinger police on Friday about an incident that had occurred the day before at around 4.45 p.m. According to the police report, the Landshut driver drove his white VW Caddy from Erding towards the A92. 400 meters after the Erding-Nord exit, the stranger overtook him in a black BMW.
Because of an oncoming truck, the BMW cut in so close to the Caddy driver that he had to brake and swerve to the right. The VW hit a guardrail. Damage: around 10,000 euros. The police asks witnesses for information on tel. (0 81 22) 9 68-0.
