Maduro decrees to release political prisoners and persecuted

The government of the questioned president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, published a decree ordering the release of 110 people, among prisoners and politically persecuted.

Some that appear on the list have already been released.

The government reported that the measure seeks a national reconciliation and that the country resolve its affairs internally.
