The director of National Intelligence, Jhon Ratcliff, warned that he will not give more confidential information in person to the US Congress about the elections.
The official said he will provide updates but will avoid personal appearances to prevent leaks to the press.
The chairman of the Intelligence Committee in Congress, Adam Schiff, said the House could summon intelligence officials if it sees fit, and that it depends on the decision of its president, Nancy Pelosi.
