Alongside Paul Goze, the president of the LNR, his right-hand man Emmanuel Eschallier, and his counterparts from La Rochelle (Vincent Merling) and Stade Toulousain (Didier Lacroix), the president of the Section Paloise, Bernard Pontneau, made part of the delegation received in Matignon on Tuesday afternoon by the Prime Minister's chief of staff, Jean Castex.
Delegation came to ask for state aid to overcome the serious economic difficulties due to the health crisis.

, Bernard Pontneau was rather confident.
“The reception of our message from the Prime Minister's Office has been positive.
We had to deal with serious interlocutors, documented and aware of our problems.
There is, on their part, a real desire to help live shows, of which sport is a part.
Now, we will get down to continuing to work, together, to quantify the damage resulting from the Covid, and the end of the championship.
There were no promises, either on one side or the other.
We worked on several tracks.
It is still a bit early to discuss them.
But Matignon knows our agenda, the Prime Minister's office is aware of the urgency of the situation vis-à-vis the clubs' cash flow. "
