The Russian President’s Special Envoy to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, discussed today with the Syrian ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Riyad Haddad, to strengthen bilateral Russian-Syrian cooperation.
Sputnik News Agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement today that “During the meeting, views were exchanged on recent events in the Middle East with a focus on the current situation in and around Syria,” adding that “special attention was paid to further strengthening the multi-faceted Russian-Syrian cooperation. Including maintaining an active political dialogue.
