How unpredictable the corona virus and especially its possibility of spreading is, was shown last week by the case of the DJK Waldram.
As reported, there were two soccer players who tested positive, whereupon training and games in the men's area were stopped and 15 teammates from the reserve were sent to quarantine as a precaution.
At the request of our newspaper, Sabine Schmid, press spokeswoman for the Bad Tölz district office, explained the authorities' approach.

- The first infected person, the so-called “index case”, was crossed off by his family doctor, and the laboratory reported the positive test result directly to the health department.
The young man then had to provide the authority with the details of his contact persons as soon as possible.
"The health department immediately contacted these people by phone and in writing to discuss further details," explained Sabine Schmid.
When deciding whether, for example, family members and work colleagues should be classified as first or second degree contact persons, the guidelines of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) in Berlin were based.
"Here we clarify the quality of the contact with the index person for each person on the list, that is, over what amount of time and at what spatial distance the contact existed," says the press spokeswoman.
As for the preparatory game for DJK Waldram II on Tuesday at SV Ascholding / Thanning, Sabine Schmid praised the clubs involved: “Both the players and those responsible off the field have made their contribution by complying with hygiene regulations, despite our Strict decision-making criteria according to the RKI guideline, only the Waldramer actors qualified as Category 1 contact persons. "This group is tested twice by the health department - once at the beginning of the quarantine period and for the second time between the fifth and seventh day of quarantine.
In addition, these people are contacted daily by the health department for the duration of the quarantine and asked about symptoms.
"The rule here is that even if the second test turns out negative, the quarantine must be complied with up to and including the 14th day," emphasized the press spokeswoman.
The current case apparently has no impact on the workplace of the two men infected for the first time.
Sabine Schmid made it clear that there is no fundamental need to close entire companies or operations.
