The restart of the Corona test center in Indersdorf took place on Monday.
THW, fire brigade and the local building yard were busy all weekend setting up the containers and equipment - sometimes in pouring rain.
At the opening, the deputy district administrator Marianne Klaffki pointed out that “the test center is currently part of the instruments for a stringent fight against the pandemic”.
The Johanniter take over the medical organization of the test station, which was set up in the spring.
Four employees, a resident doctor and the security company P3 are to ensure that the tests run smoothly in the drive-in station.
One track is intended for people without symptoms and a second for people with symptoms.
Of course, according to the District Office, it is also possible to get to the station without a car.
It is essential to wear a mask on the premises.
On the opening day, many people were already using the station.
The employees were very challenged.
“I don't think they expected a rush.
Although actually wanted by the politicians ”, said one of the people tested on site.
The own waiting time was three hours.
The station is open on weekdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
However, from 4 to 6 p.m. only for people who come on the instructions of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
The station is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and public holidays.
Testers must bring their ID and their insurance card as well as a registration form, which can be downloaded in advance from the district office website (www.landratsamt-dachau.de), but can also be filled out on site.
The district office of Dachau promises that the health department generally sends positive results within 48 hours.
Negative results would be communicated directly by mail from the laboratory.
Of course, tests can still be carried out by the family doctor.
In the case of acute symptoms of the illness, however, a (telephone) medical clarification should be carried out immediately, or the on-call service of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians should be contacted on 116 117.
Otherwise, as Klaffki said: “Hold on together at a distance!”
