The Israeli delegation that arrived in Dubai yesterday (Monday), on the first El Al plane to the UAE, is making its way to the city of luxury, when this morning (Tuesday) another little history was recorded, in the morning prayer in the synagogue there.

A number of members of the delegation, in which "Israel Today" wrote, prayed in the synagogue, which at the end of the morning prayer even blew the shofar, as is customary in the month of Elul.

In a few hours, the official visit will end, and the members of the delegation will make their way back to Israel.

The Jewish community in Dubai says that recognizing Israel also allows them more to externalize their activities, which only two years ago were almost completely secret.

The community played a significant part in the visit, and they serve as a bridge to the political move.

The King's House appealed to community members to organize kosher food and infrastructure for Jewish activities.

The prayer today in Dubai joins a solemn prayer that took place last year at the synagogue in Manama, Bahrain.

So Israelis participated in the economic conference leading up to the Century Agreement and they gathered for prayer in an active synagogue mainly on holidays.

Among the participants at the time was also the then US envoy to the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt.
