Israel Katz, Minister of Finance continues to attack the budget director Shaul Meridor after the resignation:
"Ministers and officials decide to perform - this is the number one principle of proper governance, which is the line that I lead every position I held, while ensuring complete with all rules and procedures.
"Meridor is a member of the family roots of the hatred of Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Likud and tried to sabotage government work and public assistance programs - so he found his way out, just before he was fired.

"But I am not alone. 15 people are sitting in the room, what do the juniors think? This is not a reasonable atmosphere for a matter-of-fact discussion. "
The state budget, Meridor argues, "has become a political server tool."
