In the midst of conflicts over land seizures that range from the Buenos Aires suburbs to Patagonia -El Bolsón, Villa Mascardi- the Minister of Security, Sabina Frederic, said on Monday that the occupations "are not a security issue" but a " The problem of housing deficit and “pressure from the land market”, something that is also aggravated by the crisis of the pandemic.

- Doesn't this position lead you to be questioned, for lack of action in the face of what happens? In the case of Villa Mascardi in Río Negro, a senator from the province demanded that you and the Government enforce the Constitution.
- Obviously we are against taking, it is illegal.

, who is demanding a solution for what is happening in her province.
After a weekend of much criticism from the province towards the role of the Government and in particular of Frederic, Carreras was also in the Casa Rosada with the Chief of Staff,
Santiago Cafiero.
But the minister defends her position.
He affirms to

that an eviction by force is "unviable" and believes that for that reason, the Justice in Río Negro has not ordered it either.
The minister says that a little more than two months ago an instance of dialogue was opened with the occupying Mapuche group, and asks for "time" to exhaust it.

But the Minister of Security states dramatically:
“With the governor we avoided a catastrophe.
This government does not want more deaths.
We were all Saturday trying to prevent the demonstration from reaching Villa Mascardi.
Nobody regrets victims because that caravan did not arrive ”.
- Didn't you look bad, minister, with your complaint to the protesters against the takeovers?

Violence cannot be naturalized in the country, nor can it be allowed, that is why we ask that Justice investigate.
From Río Negro, former governor Alberto Weretilneck, current senator for the provincial party Juntos Somos Río Negro (JSRN), was the harshest voice against the role of the Nation in the matter.
He said that the Mapuche group of the taking is "violent and extreme", that it threatens the neighbors, and that it is not even recognized in the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs (INAI).
Weretilneck, who is the strong man of the province - he could not be reelected last year and achieved the succession in who was his minister, Carreras - again attacked this Monday.
He accused Frederic of "taking sides with those who are violent, burn down neighbors' houses, stone cars and destroy public places."
The minister avoids polemicizing.
"I also spoke with the senator. It is true that it is a radicalized group," she adds, "but the other Mapuche referents do recognize them. There are 32 causes, for vandalism, but the Justice has not identified anyone."
