Although with some nuances, the Government decided to close ranks to support the Minister of Security, Sabina Frederic;

who remained at the center of the controversy after criminally denouncing the residents of Bariloche who demonstrated against the taking of land in Villa Mascardi.

Alberto Fernández

surrounded the official with his main collaborators with the aim of directing the dialogue table and attenuating the reproaches of the Rio Negro government leadership, but at the same time as a sign of support.

For the Casa Rosada "there is no contradiction" between the support for Frederic, who this Monday assured that the takeovers by the Huincul Mapuche community in Río Negro and those that occurred in some areas of the Buenos Aires suburbs do not represent "a matter of Security";

and what was raised weeks ago by the Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat of the Nation, María Eugenia Bielsa;

when she admitted that it is "criminal situations".

"

According to high official sources,

Minister Frederic "did not move an inch"

of what the Casa Rosada thinks about that "it is not a security issue" and that the way to resolve the conflict in Patagonia, that "does not it began with this management but for several years ";

It is through dialogue.

"The support is total," they remarked from the Presidency.

Along these lines, the Government stated that

the intention is "to find a peaceful solution"

and "within the law."

"Usurpation is clearly a crime, typified in the Penal Code, nobody denies it. It was misunderstood: what we are proposing is that we cannot intervene from the use of the police forces if the Justice itself is not asking for it and that It was also clear in the past that it was useless. We must insist on dialogue, "they insisted on Balcarce 50, where they expose as an emblem of the" failure "of the use of force as a method to resolve conflicts, the case of the crime of the Mapuche Rafael Nahuel during an eviction operation carried out by the Prefecture.

For this reason, they maintain, Frederic's strategy has the support of Fernández, who involved his main collaborators in stopping the onslaught of the Rio Negro government leadership against Frederic.

The Head of State instructed the Chief of Cabinet, Santiago Cafiero;

and the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro;

to redirect the relationship with Governor Arabela Carreras.

Cafiero received Carreras this Monday, before the event at the Bicentennial Museum: after hearing his claim, he promised to collaborate to try to unblock the conflict and arranged a series of meetings with other government officials.

He was accompanied by Juan Manuel Olmos, head of the council of advisers - and legal battering ram - of the President.

The governor of Río Negro, Arabela Carreras, joined the weekend march in Bariloche and spoke with protesters.

On Monday she traveled to Buenos Aires to meet with the Government.

De Pedro, meanwhile, had to postpone the meeting they had planned due to agenda issues, including the return of Cristina Kirchner to the Casa Rosada;

but he promised Carreras to closely follow the issue and guaranteed him to return to his province with good news in the midst of the economic crisis: he granted a Contribution from the National Treasury (ATN) for 125 million pesos.

Later, the governor met with Frederic, but not alone: Alberto F. entrusted the Minister of Justice, Marcela Losardo, to mediate;

another leader of her extreme confidence, taking advantage of the fact that her portfolio depends on the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs;

the decentralized body that must act and to which Carreras has been asking "to take note" of the "violence" of those who took the lands in Mascardi.

In the national government they point out that the scenario is more complex given the pre-existing mistrust between the provincial government authorities and Magdalena Odarda, president of INAI;

who integrated the formula led by the Peronist Martín Soria and competed against Carreras in the last provincial elections.

Neighbors of Bariloche cut Route 40 in rejection of the vandalism in Villa Mascardi.

In this context, they note the reaction of former governor Alberto Weretilneck, current senator for Río Negro and leader of the provincial party Juntos Somos Río Negro (JSRN), who over the weekend led criticism of the government's inaction and, in particular, against Frederic .

However, Carreras seemed satisfied with the reception of the Government and was expectant to find "solutions" at the inter-institutional dialogue table "to bring peace and tranquility, avoiding paths of confrontation."

In the government, meanwhile, they promise to "work until there is a solution."
