If in Lebanon they expected that his appointment as prime minister of the German ambassador Mustafa Adiv would cause the demonstrations to fade, then today (Tuesday) the citizens returned to the streets again.

At this time, they are throwing stones at the parliament in Beirut - and trying to break into it.

Security forces try to stop them with rubber bullets and tear gas, in order to prevent them from breaking through.

According to Lebanese photos and reports from the parliament area, the protesters are kicking walls that surround the parliament environment, and even trying to climb them.

At the same time, other protesters arrived at Martyrs' Square in the Lebanese capital - where it is currently quieter.

As mentioned, in previous demonstrations, the citizens performed "hanging" ceremonies for figures of President Michel Aoun and Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.

In case of accident or not, it was decided to issue arrest warrants against the officers responsible for security at the port of Beirut, Daoud Fayyad, Anutuan Salom, Joseph a-Nadaf and Sharbel Fawz.

The person who came to visit for the second time since the explosion at the port is French President Emmanuel Macron.

"The fruits of our efforts are evident," he said.

"In less than a month, our teams with the Lebanese have done an extraordinary job."

During a press conference, Macron said the coming months are critical to the country's future, adding that although Hezbollah is an elected figure in the Lebanese political system, it represents only part of the people.

The French president, who is visiting for the second time a country that is still recovering from the deadly port explosion that occurred on August 4 and the acute economic crisis, said he is ready to host an international conference aimed at providing aid in mid-October.
