It is reported that the man arrested by the police yesterday was the person in charge of a pet hotel in Mong Kok. The other two arrested women were animal intermediaries. They were arrested on suspicion of "conspiracy to export unmanifested cargo" and "cruel treatment of animals."
The police and the Association will meet with reporters this afternoon (September 1) to give details of the case.
