The Chamber of Deputies will finally begin the session on Tuesday with the representatives of Together for Change in the premises, after the extensive and frustrated conversations between the heads of the blocks of the opposition coalition with the head of the Chamber, Sergio Massa, to define a new mechanism to continue legislative activity during the pandemic.

Last week, after an agreement with the minority blocks, the Frente de Todos requested the session, in which a project of assistance to tourist activity and another that establishes sanctions against illegal fishing in the area of the Malvinas Islands will be discussed.

But it did not take long for the questions of Together for Change to appear, where they warned that the agreement to develop the debates virtually expired, as it was resolved in the face of the coronavirus pandemic, and they demanded to negotiate the new modalities for work on the premises.

Therefore, before the session, the heads of blocks, together with the president of the lower house, Sergio Massa, sought to reach an agreement.

After hours of negotiation, there was no rapprochement between the parties.
