Events are rare at the moment, and Sophia Albrecht wanted to counter that.
In coordination with the city of Schongau, she has organized an open-air festival for the coming weekend.
Schongau
- At the end of the summer holidays, young and old should have fun again.
Sophia Albrecht (19), an event manager apprentice at the local Schongauer Brauhaus, has set herself an event where visitors can find normality and distraction despite Corona and special hygiene requirements.
That is exactly what should be the case at the open-air festival on Schongau's Mayor-Schaegger-Platz.
Albrecht had the idea at the beginning of summer when she was also implementing a new concept for the green market (we reported).
“The decision as to whether everything could take place had to be made at short notice,” said Albrecht.
The city of Schongau has now given the go-ahead and Albrecht has put together a colorful program for Saturday and Sunday, September 5th and 6th.
The following applies to everything: "We should laugh!"
It starts on Saturday at 3 p.m. with a
poetry show
: Dr.
Jaromir Konecny and three other poetry slammers with different topics such as artificial intelligence.
At 7 pm,
Niko Formanek will
perform with
his new comedy program
“Der Eheflüsterer”.
As the name suggests, he talks about his experiences as a husband and father.
Perhaps one or the other viewer will recognize himself in his descriptions.
"He is very close to people," says Marion Albrecht, managing director of the Oberland culture team and mother of the main organizer, Sophia.
A
small fair is
planned
for Sunday
.
The bouncy castle, carousel and throwing booths are available for the (younger) visitors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You can also feast - from cotton candy to cakes and roast pork rolls.
There is also beer, of course.
Hans Enzensperger and band
invite you for a morning pint at 11 a.m. and let the Diexieland jazz sound for the visitors.
Children should get their money's worth in the afternoon from 3 p.m.
Tobi van Deisner is known as a balloon artist
and would like to inspire the audience with a magic show.
At 6 p.m., a well-tried brewery concept is finally on the program: The
Comedy Lounge with Florian Simbeck will
make people laugh in Schongau's old town this Sunday.
Comedians Tamika Campbell, Nick Schmid and Götz Frittrang will be there.
A maximum of 320 people are allowed to be on the Bürgermeister-Schaegger-Platz at the same time, and all of them have to be registered, explains Albrecht.
That is why only people with an admission ticket are allowed onto the site - one hour before the start of the performance.
Only they have access to the market on Sunday, according to the requirements.
The audience is seated in groups of six at beer tables, explains Marion Albrecht.
The masks may be placed there, otherwise the usual hygiene and distance regulations apply.
Although there should also be a box office, the organizers would prefer to sell the tickets in advance in order to simplify the process.
Tickets are available in the Schongauer Brauhaus and online at www.reservix.de.
The prices are between 10 and 20 euros per person.
