The Brazilian player has created his own company to form a team that competes in electronic sports, a booming business that is attracting more and more investment from professional footballers.

As detailed in the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (Borme) yesterday, the soccer player has founded the company Casemiro Sports Brasil, with the minimum share capital for a limited company (3,000 euros) and which began operations on August 18.

As reflected in the document, the company describes its corporate purpose as "the promotion and management of eSports and electronic games, the representation and training of electronic sports players and the capture and obtaining of sponsorships for activities related to eSports and electronic games."

The sole administrator of the company is Casemiro himself and his registered office is located in La Moraleja, the exclusive urbanization of Alcobendas (Madrid) where the white player resides and which is known for being a haven for celebrities and footballers.

The Brazilian player had previously shown his support for eSports.

As he published on his social media accounts, in 2018 he received the Made in Brasil (MIBR) team at his home and went to his training center to follow the preparation in person.

Now, he has made the leap and has fully joined the business.

This entrepreneurial initiative is not new, as more and more professional athletes are entering an emerging and booming industry.

According to Newzoo, the consulting firm specialized in eSports and which is taken as a reference in the sector, in 2019 the industry generated 950 million dollars (about 795 million euros at the exchange rate), which is 22.4% more than the previous year .
