Ambulances and police officers rushed to the scene, and the surrounding area was closed pending investigations into the circumstances of the accident.

In turn, the owner of the bakery, Luxley Brissette, explained that he was inside the baking kitchen at the time of the accident and that all the victims were outside the bakery except that they ran inside when the shooting started.

Police, who described the accident as serious, said it was raining heavily at the moment of the accident and the number of the attackers involved in the shooting who were inside the car was unknown.
