Sabine Bendiek: The 54-year-old will be the HR director at SAP

Now it's official: Europe's largest software company SAP has signed the previous head of Microsoft Germany,
Sabine Bendiek
, as a new member of the board.
The 54-year-old will be the new head of human resources and labor director from the beginning of 2021, announced the Walldorf group on Thursday.
Bendiek was initially appointed to the board for three years.
She will be responsible for SAP's HR strategy in the future.
The day before, the "Wirtschaftswoche" reported on the change, citing corporate and industrial circles.

, who worked as HR director until the end of May and then unexpectedly left the company.

(40) also temporarily stepped in as interim Labor Director and head of the HR department.
According to SAP, the new addition will initially take on the HR department and, from mid-2021, the role of Chief Operating Officer - and thus optimize the work processes at the software company.
Bendiek has been the head of Microsoft Germany since January 2016.
Before joining there, the MIT graduate worked at Nixdorf, McKinsey, Dell and EMC, among others.
Bendiek sits on the executive committee of the Bitkom digital association.
