Hurricane Nana made landfall early Thursday on the coast of Belize, between Dangriga and Placencia, according to the most recent report from the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

With maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour, Nana was 80 kilometers south of Belize City and was moving at a speed of 26 km / h, according to the report.
