All students of the Isar-Loisach-Realschule have passed their degrees.

There was a special message associated with the report cards they received.

Wolfratshausen

- 102 young people were admitted to the Isar-Loisach-Realschule in Wolfratshausen for the written exam - and all of them passed.

Despite and precisely because of the corona pandemic, they all deserved a dignified farewell, according to Vice Rector Stefan Wandinger.

The graduation certificates were awarded for each class on the last day of school.

The school's own organization team had decorated the large gym for this.

"Everyone involved was aware that this would only be possible within a certain framework and in compliance with strict safety and hygiene requirements," the Vice-Rector said afterwards.

The graduates with a maximum of two relatives and the teachers of the examination subjects were present.

While maintaining the prescribed safety distance, they sat in groups of three in assigned seats.

At times they had to wear a mouth and nose covering.

"Guests of honor like the pastoral advisor Mrs. Seidnader and the chairman of the parents' council, Mr. Zanner, chose the alternative option of a digital message", reports Wandinger.

Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner had put his greeting on paper, which was sorted into every certificate folder as a memento.

Only the representatives of the student body, Silas Corban, Zuzanna Magierko and Ludwig Winkler, and headmistress Carolin Lilienthal spoke personally to the graduates.

In their speeches, they addressed the special and unique circumstances of this year's exam class.

The rector stated that the graduates “did not allow themselves to be discouraged, did not give in, but also showed perseverance and confidence in these times”.

She advised the departing students that they "should never lose hope and never be discouraged by difficulties and unforeseen twists and turns that life has in store for everyone".

Instead, they may "always start over and look ahead."

Everyone should always keep their dreams.

The award ceremony itself was a bit more sterile due to the wearing of gloves, but this could not tarnish the happy event, so Wandinger.

Last but not least, the playing of pieces of music and pictures, which every graduate could choose himself, literally covered up these external circumstances owed to the pandemic.

The headmistress insisted on honoring exceptionally committed students and honoring the best of the year.

Julia Kiesl achieved an average of 1.25, Johanna Peis an average of 1.27 and Chantal Traudisch an average of 1.45.

Overall, it was "a hopefully unique experience in this form".

Even if it was nice to see that all those involved had mutually supported the concept from the start to adhere to the safety and hygiene requirements without restriction, "not least more than ever out of gratitude that despite all the adverse circumstances a worthy, in a certain way a unique certificate was awarded ”.
