Lebanon renewed its demand for the Israeli occupation entity to withdraw from the occupied Lebanese territories.
The Lebanese army indicated in a statement today that it demanded during a meeting held in Naqoura on the southern borders of Lebanon that the Israeli enemy should withdraw from all occupied territories, including the area adjacent to the north of the Blue Line, the Shebaa Farms, the Kafr Shuba hills, the northern part of the Ghajar area and the occupied “B Wahid” area.
The Lebanese side affirmed its adherence to all its rights in the Lebanese waters, stressing the need to address the contentious points on land and at sea.
The statement also called on the United Nations to exert pressure on the Israeli enemy to stop its violations and provocations, expressing its condemnation of the bombing of Lebanese territory on July 27, 25 and August 31, 2020.
The meeting dealt with recent incidents that occurred along the Blue Line. The Lebanese side reaffirmed its commitment to UN resolutions, especially Resolution 1701 and all its components, noting the Security Council’s decision to renew the mandate of UNIFIL.
